  • Surgical Steel Posts: Most Samantha Abbott Glass Stud Earrings utilize hypoallergenic surgical steel posts. This metal is highly resistant to corrosion, rust, and tarnishing. 
How to Clean and Maintain the Earrings
If the metal findings dull due to regular wear, body oils, or cosmetics, you can restore them easily: 
  • Basic Polish: Wipe the glass and metal components gently with a soft, lint-free jewelry cloth. 
  • Avoid Chemicals: Keep the earrings away from harsh cleaning chemicals, perfumes, hairsprays, and heavily chlorinated pools to preserve the tarnish-resistant coating. 
  • Silver Cleaning: For hooks made of sterling silver, a quick wipe with a specialized silver polishing cloth will immediately remove any surface oxidation.
