Beginners Paint Your Own Piece Workshop

Have you ever wanted to paint and redecorate your old furniture and homewares but don’t know where to start? Then this workshop will get you on your way, with tips to avoid common mistakes and mishaps.

Cost: $110

When:  contact to arrange a date once you purchase. Come on your own or bring a friend and receive a free brush. 

Time: 9am - 1pm (4 hours)

Where: Our home workshop area in Pinbarren, 28 Mountain View Lane. 

In this workshop, we will cover basics like what to look for when purchasing furniture pieces,  and how to choose which paint is best for you and your project. Preparing your surface for painting or staining.  We will cover stain blockers, preparing and painting glossy or laminate surface, and which sealers to use. 

I will explain the difference between paint types, and you can choose which you would like to use.

What to bring:  Wear old clothes or bring an apron if you have one.  

Your Piece:  The piece you bring needs to fit into the passenger side of your car.  Eg a small bedside table or coffee table, suitcase or similar.  Larger items will not leave enough time to complete in the workshop.  

We do not refund cancellations, however, will transfer your payment to a future workshop or store credit valid for 3 months, should you have to change your plans.
